Default Servos

I want to replace an old 1/4 scale servo ( rudder servo) to a standard size? I have a 55" v hull with a CY27 4+hp motor. Any recommendation? How are the cy motors too? Thanks

The Hitec HS-645 MG does a good job for me. I've used them on my boats from .45 nitro up to my gassers.
I've got 2 Sikk's, not bad engines but not great either as long as you don't inhale water. You have to engage the pull-starter before yanking it to start it otherwise it'll wear off the pawls on the flywheel. Mine are collecting dust since I bought some RCMK's.

You can get high torque servos in almost all brands. I would recommend as high of torque rating as possible WITH METAL GEARS, preferably in the water resistant variety.

Pull it until you feel it grab then yank it.
