Default UL-1 or SV27R

UL-1 -OR- SV27R ??....just asking wich is faster..some opinions.... THANX

The UL-1 is fast out of the box and can easily made to go faster. One has seen 60+ MPH with only a few mods (mostly a prop, good batteries and an air dam underneath) yet otherwise stock. The air dam was made from Hockey stick tape.

Yes. Basically a piece of Hockey tape run across the tunnel section near the front to disrupt airflow. It helps to keep it from blowing off the water at high speeds.

Very cool Ron thank you very much..my buddies has an sv27, and getting the sv27r, Just makin sure im going to be faster on the water LOL..

Steve,
the odds are, you are going to be faster.
the only thing is if it gets windy or too choppy for the hydro, the sv will be having fun and you more than likely will not.

the SV will handle rougher water much better than the Hydro, but both are fun.

Dan Ive always hadgas boats, had EP's but all V hulls and one cat. first time with a hydro...
