Default bulkhead or rib desigh

I would like to design a short, fat tug. I can draw the top and side profile and build something close, but designing the rib profiles are difficult, does anyone have any ideas. My only thouht is to design the keel with cardboard, glue cardboard ribs to the keel then bend a wire at different contours and cut the cardboard to fit, any other ideals. Thanks, Randy.

After viewing your boat, instead of cutting my keel to actual width, I will make the cardboard test keel full so it lays flat on the table and fasten the cardbord ribs to it.
