This is a phil thomas hull I picked up a while back. Just now getin around to painting. I have run and tested this boat prior to paint. It has a CMB .21 with MACS high nitro pipe, speed master hardware, a low drag strut made by me, a grim fin, 2.4GHz radio and a CMDi 1445 cut and cupped to 3.2. This things a screamer! The bottom has been printed and it handles like iits on rails. All it needs now is a nice paint job to suit. I recently picked up one of those droid cell phones and I thought that might make for an interesting paint scheme. lemme know what you guys think.

Nice. Did you add the scoop as I don't remember Phil's boat having one.

Yes that's a mhz scoop I added. It is fully functional. The louver vents on the sides are from mhz also. They help cool the exhaust which is setup to exit the transom.

just giving an update,

first pic is Phils SSP21,

the second pic (yellow and red) is phils new Stealth Hydro design for FE and Nitro.
notice the roof scoop and the way the cowl attach at front compared to the SSP21.
I believe that the sponsons design are also different from the SSP21.

the stealth is also wider and longer than the SSP21.

30inches long and 16 inches wide, compared to the SSP21 at 29 3/4" long and 15 1/2" wide.

however as Ben stated, his droid is an SSP21 with a modified cowl, very nice.
