Default Standard Airtronics 2.4gig reciever OK for boat use? M11x compatible with other 2.4gig Rx's?

Planning on swapping out the stock 2.4gig reciever that comes with my MVD rtr boat. I notice some mfg's make specific recievers for marine use. I am planning on picking up a M11X from Airtronics. Does anyone know if I can use the stock reciever it comes with for marine use? If so do I need to take any precautions? If not do they make a marine specific reciever? If not is there a marine reciever that I can use that is compatible with the M11x transmitter?

Also is the stock 2.4gig reciever in the MVD compatible with the M11x? Could save me some money up front if it is.

...you wont have any issues. Im using the M11X with the RX451 and its faultless. I believe the 451 is the same as the US version supplied RX. Great range at 400+ meters.

I've been running the M11 with 2.4GHz with no issues either, you'll be fine. Only Spektrum had issues on water that I'm aware of.
