Troubleshooting receiver Mad FLow

Hi,

I am new to RC Boats, and have encountered a problem with my sonīs Mad Flow. Throttle is working, but steering is not responding. I have made sure that stearing is connected to the 4 connector in the receiver. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Henning

What kind of radio system are you using? My Futaba 4PLS has me on channels 1 and 2 for throttle and rudder so I'm wondering if that could be the issue
I've been looking on line for someplace that would show the owners manual, couldn't find anything so with a no name radio, it's hard to know for sure.
Where I would start is by plugging the rudder servo into the slot you have the speed controller plugged in to. Since you know that slot works, the servo should respond. IF it doesn't, you probably have a bad servo. If it works, move the servo to the next slot and try again. If the servo doesn't react in any other slot, you probably have a receiver issue. Either way, a call to customer service should get the issue taken care of.

Thanks a lot, it seems that the servo is broken. I have ordered a new one, hope that will fix this :)
