New boater needs help.
 

My grandson wants to get into "weeder boats", I fly R/C, boats is a whole new thing. What I would like to do is find a site where I could get some plans and plan build some type of boat. We would probably want something in a racing boat. I have looked around and really can't find much of what I want. I would like suggestions. Have to get on the water before winter. Thank's in advance.

I think there is a magazine called RC Boat Modeler or something like that. Try www.radiocontrolzone.com They have an active boat forum.
By "weeder boats", do you mean weedeater engine powered boats?

Sorry I can't be of any more help than this and when I'm surfing around I'll keep you in mind.

Try Jim's R/C Boat Dock. You can get to it by going to impba.com and then click on the links. It is mostly a gas boating site with a lot of good people and some manufacturers there to help.
