bait delivery boat, help with electronics

Well i got to tinkering around and have designed a boat fro bringing large quantities of fishing bait out to a longer range than i can cast(im so lazy its not even funny)

its essentialy going to be a plywood/styrofoam catamaran, with a trolling motor mounted just aft of the centerline.(i MIGHT, if it works, build fiberglass/expandable foam pontoons instead of just chunks of styrofoam)

my problem is going to be waterproofing my electronics. how wold i go about doing this(at least the receiver and batt), but make it fairly easily removable?

thanks in advance

TxAggie,
There's almost always more than one way of doing something. There's several ways of water proofing electronics and batteries, the simplest probably being to simply put everything in a water tight container of some kind (a baloon for the receiver?). What you might do with the battery just depends on what kind of battery you use. A car battery? Use a 'battery box' and be sure to vent the thing outboard. Nicads, or nimh batteries? Got another baloon? Or, while constructing those pontoons, build in water tight compartments? Ductape a cigar box??

PS - It's sort of early, not enough coffee, my imagination isn't exactly under control yet... ask a 'T'-sipper??
