Testing a ESC
 
How ban I test my esc ? its a jeti 600 and I'm not shure it is good any way to test it ? Thanks For Your Time ..... Bob

Try checking your servo reversing switch.It can sometimes be the cause of a non-functioning ESC.

Bob,
If it works at all, it's probably working as best it will. Lot's of 'lee-way' there, so making sure you don't exceed any of the ESC's current/voltage ratings is the first step. How hot does it get? Too hot to touch means over it's ratings. From there on, you're talking about having some sort of unusual test equipment/knowledge. Certainly not impossible, just not very economical or likely.

Hi Bob,

Why do you need to test the ESC?

Doesn't it work?

What equimment are you using, which boat, how many cells, which motor, what prop?

Knowing those thing would make it easier to respond.
