buying rc boat
 

I am looking for a rc boat, 3 to 4 foot long. I am more interested in power than in speed. I would like electric motor with run time of 30 min or more. The type I would like is fishing boat, or tug boat. I don't want a kit, but I would buy a kit, put together by someone who is skilled at putting them together. I have been looking and have had no luck. Is there such a boat out there, or am I expecting too much?

ask in the scale boating section if anyone has a boat for sale. Boats that size will always come in kit form. If you pay enough money, Im sure someone will build it for you.

You can not on this site ask if anyone has a boat for sale as we don't allow for sale, trade or wanted threads in the forums.
Finding a scale boat for sale won't be easy as you've already found out if that's what you're looking for.
A tug boat in that size is going to be heavy. The smaller one that would be close to that size, the Miss Darby, uses a deep-cycle battery for power. Most wait until the boat is floating before putting it in.
You can find some large offshore fishing boats in that size in kit form. I think that Expresscraft Boats has one.
