Battery Discharger
I have a NiCad charger, it came with radio, but it doesn't have a discharge feature in it.[:o]
Got any suggestions on making a discharger, I'd rather not have to buy a charger/discharger.? Thanks |
RE: Battery Discharger
Never actually felt the need for a discharger, but you could always connect a car headlamp bulb across the battery and wait for it to dim.

1 Attachment(s)
I made this one with 4 - 12 volt car bulbs, 12 gauge solid copper building wire, and a Tamiya connector. I soldered the wire to the bulbs and connector as shown in the photo. I should add that I discharge the batteries only until the bulbs are fairly dim to prevent the cells from reversing polarity.
