RC boat that can haul something light?

I'm creating a game where 3 RC boats can EASILY get something/pickup something/haul something floating in the middle of a lake, and then bring it back to shore. What kind of RC boat could do that easily? Each of the 3 boats will need a 500 ft range and must operate on 3 separate channels. I'm a game designer, but not a RC boat expert, so thanks for your ideas!

These wont pick anything up but they do come with a bumper which allow you to push an included ball around (play soccer) I have pushed bigger things in -like other boats- in rescue operations.

If you search on model boat forums for rescue boats, you will find almost as many answers as there are modellers.
Actually hooking onto something designed to be hooked onto at 50 feet is a good trick - at 500 feet life gets tricky. Recovery of a boat at that range generally consists of trailing a floating line, circling the cripple and heading back hoping to have snagged something. Something big enough to see at that range like a tug or service vessel. Closer in, pushing is relatively easy, but needs something blunt, otherwise the push has to happen precisely on the objects centre of lateral resistance. If not, the object will dodge out the way. Springers come to mind - search for them to see the magnificently silly side of model boating.
In real life you are looking along the surface, and distance perception reduces with distance. In a game, there is the option of looking down.
