BOAT BUILD

Hey guys,
i'm trying to get a V boat hull from a guy that i work with. its about 40" long and im thinking about trying to put a 30cc engine in it. ill have to fab up engine mounts. but i was wonder what kind of shaft, prop, and steering stuff that i may need. its an old boat not sure what it is. ill post some pics later. any help will be nice. want to kinda know if its going to cost me more then its worth. thanks

It might be more trouble than it's worth. A 40" hull is just under the size that you want for a gas powered boat, 46" is usually a good size. What's more important is the width, as gas engines have more torque and a wider hull can take running a large prop easier.
