Default CRE P5XLT Break-in

Hi, I am finally finishing my 8ight-T 3.0 I haven't touched it in over a year so I can't remember how to break-in the engine. I have pretty much forgotten everything to do with RC so I am learning from scratch again.

The engine is a clocked Novarossi P5XLT with a Novarossi 9886 tuned pipe and has never been started..I do also have a Competition Heat engine warmer.
So I would like to know the best method to break it in, including which fuel I should be using.

I just watched a break in video by Adam Drake, he idled his engine for 4 tanks, then ran the buggy on road at 1/4 throttle for a tank, 1/2 throttle for a tank, 3/4 throttle for a tank and then full throttle for a tank.
Is this a method I should be using for this engine?

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Why not touch base with Neal Smith - former owner of CRE. He operates The Nitro Shop now. TheNitroShop.com.

He isn't online here much anymore, but you could also try sending a PM to Supertib.
