Even for the low price you bought one of the worst Traxxas cars ever. The engines are also very weak.

Thanks for the Great Comments. Yes I love the older RC's Myself. I Like Cleaning and fixing them up. If this Rustler did not beat any of his RC's. I got a Vintage RC10T That will

they are not sophisticated race trucks, they may not be lightning fast, but they are fun as hell and can take a lickin.
people said that about Duratrax nitro evaders, that truck was fun and only broke a shock tower, clutch bearings and a spur gear, even though i have a suped up 1/8 buggy, i just paid $135 for a used nitro evader, why? because its a simple fun wheelie machine.
and to the original poster, if it was less than 75 beans, it was well worth it, im sure it will run.

RE: Old Nitro Rustler I just picked up..
Thanks for the comment. I have heard nothing but good things about the nitro Rustler as well. Used ones can fetch $200 or more on the bay. I am very happy with the purchase of the truck. I paid a lot less then $75 for the Truck. He pretty much gave it to me the price was so cheap.. The truck cleaned up nicely and everything seems to be in very nice shape. I can't wait to get this old Rustler running once again...

You just don't get it. It has nothing to do with whos truck is better then whos. The point of the thread was to show a old RC That I found . There are some people that are into the old RC Cars and trucks like myself. I will race your Baja With my 20 Year old RC10T any day of the week... Now could you please just move on with your neg thoughts and comments. If you do not have anything nice or positive to say then Please just move on. Merry Christmas.

Yhea I'm sure a 10 year old Traxxas is better than a HPI Baja.

Nice buy. That car is about 11-12 yo. I have one and it still runs well. PS, don't listen to 12yo kids when they spout nonsense on a forum. PPS, that guy doesn't even have an HPI Baja, he has a clone, so again, not sure where he's spouting off from.

Yes My RC10T Is From Around 1990 And The Truck Body thats on it Came Stock Wih the Truck. From Time to Time Early RC10T Bodies do come up for sale but not very often...
ORIGINAL: Smiff 24
If im not mistaken, that was associated's stock body so it may be hard to find one.
I had one on a vintage rc10gt I sold (and regret now)

He are A Couple more bodys that I have for the RC10T. I believe the RC10T Body in the pic is is a RC10T2 body that came out after the one on my RC10 in the pictures. The VW body is a Early 90's one as well. The VW bodys were popular to use in the early 90's for racing.. enjoy...

the thing i dont like with big scales is that they are heavy, cumbersome and expensive. you cant jump them like smaller scales, and on a track they are almost always too big, they piss me off at the track, i pull my 1/8 scale off the track before it gets smushed.
would i own one? yes, but its pretty low on my list.
