Default Can you mix different weights of shock oil and diff fluid?

Does 40w + 50w in equal parts = 45w?

If so is it a bad idea to mix different manufacturers products?

You can mix them but there's no telling what will come out. I wouldn't do it.

if your talking about silicone shock oils then yes you can mix different weights and you should be able to mix different brands as well aslong as there both silicone based.
