I bought another Mamba Monster 2200kv brushless system. $200 for a brand new ESC in box and a barely used motor!

well in the course of a few months

for the formula ten

ball diff- $32
front stub frame X4 (just in case) $18
knuckles (just in case)- $3.50
rear pod mount- $6.00
Front wing (just in case) $14
front and rear tires- $35
rim set X2 (cheap rims!) $18
ball bearings for front wheels- $4.00
gyro- $11
so a grand total of $141.50 funny thing all i needed was the tires, ball diff bearings and one stub frame the rest is backup and for the life of me i cant break anything.

however you figure in the

VTG tamiya frog +65
VTG tamiya frog +45
VTG tamiya frog parts car +30
VTG tamiya battery +10

so i MADE $150 because i got the cars for free

a rule i made and follow is, i dont buy something unless i sell something.

BSR racing foams for my 8ight 2.0, Losi 8ight battery tray and straps for my Mugen MBX5T brushless conversion and a bunch of random small parts.

Pics of the BSR foams which are 106mm next to my Impanema belted slicks which are 96mm.

Bump. My first 2.4ghz radio + an extra receiver. Had bought a Spektrum DX3S, but returned it after having range issues on day one. Now I got the Aitronics MX Sport - here rebranded by LRP - but most importantly, Sanwa-built.. Has been a new learning curve researching radios. I wanted an MT-4, but couldn't afford it right now(some day, maybe..) But yeah, no to Spektrum, yes to Sanwa. Don't like the style of Kopropo, and Futaba, though surely great, was just more expensive than Sanwa - and Sanwa has a really good rep... Like the style of the Sanwas too... Along with the radio I got a set of VP-Pro power-tool tips with a handle. Looking forward to that. My Bosch Ixo power tool is a godsend for wrenching - I encourage everyone to get one or something similar.... - but the tips have been wearing down. Now I have new tips for it, but also a manual handle I can use in a pinch. Theoretically I could just carry it and the 2.0mm and 2.5mm bits around with me(or Losi tips for my LST2's, which I also have..) instead of all these different hex drivers... Also ordered some PSR RC8 aif-filters and oil. About €154 all up..

I see a lot of good stuff being bought here; maybe our economic situation isn't as dire as we previously thought.  Anyhow, I picked this up but not all at once:

SC10RS RTR used from CL
SCX10 used from another RCU member
various parts, shock oil, tires, another turnbuckle tool, wheels, body clips, a body for the B4 and just basic RC necessities
