Default lifepo4

has anyone ever used a lifepo4 battery in a car? the turnigy ones from hobbyking preferably? also, how has your experience been with hobbyking?

I use the Zippy Life from Hobbyking and they are pretty good (3S in a BL Strike) they are actually cheaper than the Turnigy Life batteries.

I have only used it a few times, but the run times were comparable with Lipo, and since I was using a 3S (9.9v) I actually had more power than when I was running a 2S lipo.

I have a few of them. A lot of people seem to think they are in between LiPo and NIMH, but they seem just like LiPo to me. The voltage is different, so you need a LiFe compatible cutoff. You also need a LiFe compatible charger.

i was thinking of these too, but im going to get lipo probably. what do you mean you see them just like lipo?
