Default RC with only front wheel drive??

Hey, has anyone had a front-wheel drive ONLY RC, specifically a monster truck? What's the handling like?! Considering trying it...

I'm mainly thinking about it because I can't keep my pede's front end down with the gearing I prefer. I would imagine the entire rear end would would be caked with s***. Maybe some huge mudflaps on the front would help?

on a MT, its lame. the weight all shifts to the back and you just get lots of wasted wheel spin.

on a tamiya ff-03, its kinda cool. especially if you want it scale, with a FWD car body.

Tamiya M Chassis is sweet. There were also some FWD buggies back in the 80s/early 90s.

not a fan of FWD only cars, they wheel hop and understeer badly.

I had one of the rear drive cups on my CEN blow once. It wouldn't move, just hopelessly tried to pull itself along like a wounded dog.

I'm going to pick up one of the Tamiya FWD tourers just for novelty's sake..and to do dumb ricer crap with a car that won't explode in the process.

The Nishiki SpiritFFwas one of those, it had the motor mounted up front so it got decent traction.

The M03 is actually a fun little car. ThunderbirdJunkie wishes he would've never sold his.

It should do what I want then. I want an RC I can do stupid stuff like tray slides, reverse bombs, fail burnouts and other assorted ricer crap with.

Alternatively, you could build a Monte Carlo rally replica and put Mini T dirt hawgs on it[&:]
