Default RC Car iPhone Apps

Hello

I will open a thread for RC Car Apps on iPhone.
I have found one that looks really nice. The name istRC Car E.

With RC Car E I can save my Set ups for Xray T3 '11 on my iPhone.
It includes V-Max Calc another app of the company.
It looks nice.

Here the Link to the app:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rc-ca...8627?mt=8&ls=1

Are there any more Rc Car app's?

I recall seeing an app called "Tweakboard" being used over on RCTech.net.

Good thing too, because once you do, you can no longer live without them. Call it a gift or a curse. I love mine.

Trust me, don't rant about it, it would demonstrate a lack of understanding, you'd be no different from those flat earth people.

Here're just some examples...

I'm in the video club looking for a movie to rent. I see an attractive cover, looks like it might be a decent movie. I grab the iphone, I open IMDB, I look up the movie and I quickly read a few comments.

I hear a piece of music I like, I whip out the iphone and ask it to identify it for me.

I need a unit converted, any unit from ounce-inches to currencies to liquid volume. I have my answer immediately

In Greece, more important than birthdays, are namedays (saint's days). I have an app which tells me everyday which names are celebrating, so I can congratulate my colleagues and friends without having to be reminded.

I can watch any movie on my pc hard drive wherever I am in the world.

I can check what's on TV without having to find the tv guide, or hope that someone remembered to buy this week's guide, or that they haven't changed the schedule.

If you play world of warcraft, which I'm sure you don't, as a guildmaster, the Armory tool is invaluable.

I can play games or browse rcu while taking a dump :P

I can surf the net anytime, anywhere.

And of course...I have my entire music library in my pocket, over 3000 tracks.

That's got nothing to do with social life, it's about access to information. Information is power. Even more than that, it's convenience.

ThunderbirdJunkie can do that with his laptop. You're not impressing anybody[&:]

Sorry, bro, but if you're SWITCHING to 8-tracks and LP, you're already so deeply embedded in this tech era that not even KISS - God of Thunder played on 8 track in a 1966 Buick Special through a Pioneer Supertuner (not II, not III, not IV, the OG one) with a separate EQ and a piggyback 8 track player can save you via that 4x10 speaker in the dash. Nor can the latest Frank Sinatra album played on the center console record player in your 1961 Ford Starliner.

Just sayin', dude. ThunderbirdJunkie doesn't have a smartphone of any sort, but he can see their value.

Now, if you want to talk about Facebook and Cryspace and whatnot, ThunderbirdJunkie probably agrees with you. The only people that would find ThunderbirdJunkie on Facebook are ones that would probably be better left unfound. Unless Meghan finds ThunderbirdJunkie. Man, she had a nice *censored*. Maybe it's time to sign up for Facebook?

Oh, and Foxy, ThunderbirdJunkie has most of the conversions memorized. You need to step up your game[&:]

yeah, because I need a $7.99 notepad to write setups into. I will stick to setup sheets. Beyond gearing, there isn't much you should be changing at the track anyway. You can find gear ratios with a simple calculator...

I am actually due for a new phone, but I do not see the value in the majority of what people use their smartphones for. I'd like something with a nice camera, and unit calculators are nice.

Here's one...

I cannot wait to try this on an RC. I just hope the settings go small enough... It's a dyno software I use for my 1:1 car (a 2001 Honda S2000), and it's surprisingly accurate (within 7% of real RR dyno figures)...Not really sure I want to strap my iphone to an RC though, maybe I'll um, 'borrow' my GFs ipod touch (also compatible). :P But it will be epic to get hp values, skid pan figures (lateral G), etc.

Not bad. I love my Moto Droid for much the same reason. I can:

Find how level something is
Tether any computer
light things up
convert any unit, no matter how obscure(Need to know what a furlong is? I got an app for that!)
Make a lot of noise. I love my air horn
Calculate anything
play Mario.
navigate
wonder why the battery died again
take pix and movies
send same
open PDFs(I have every PDF AE released for the NTC3 on there, for example)
Measure things

And that's just off the top of my head. There's apps on there I don't remember I have.

I can do all of the above things from my laptop, and until they put my online learning labs for school and Castle Link on a phone, I will keep my "dumb" LG Neon as it has a camera and memory card hehe
