Default DX3R for $100

I have the chance to get a spektrum dx3r for $100. A buddy of mine is getting a losi 8ight and is selling the dx3r beacause he has the dx3p. I wont come with a receiver. I have been debating on getting a new one for a while. Seem like a deal?

Yes, that's a pretty good deal. If you've been thinking about getting one, go ahead and grab that one.

Yes get it! Im not sure how close surface radios are to air radios, but i have a spektrum air radio and its AMAZING!!!! Only thing is that the receivers are expensive. But im sure for surface use, if you get the orangerx, it shouldn't be an issue. I don't trust orangerx that much for air applications....well for lightweight planes they are fine. For surface, I don't think orangerx is a problem unless you are driving a 5 pound 60mph car.....

good chunk of ground based RC's are 5-12lbs, and a fair chunk of those can hit 60 pretty easy

Alright....dont trust the orangerx then. I guess cars aren't some big chunks of foam like my planes are.

Well yeah they aren't bad, its just that its a little harder to trust being cheaper. But of course, even the expensive stuff can fail.
