RE: Kyosho Newbie
I like Kyosho (that is all I run in races today) but I would not recommend this one. The car chassis is good but the equipments (radio, engine, muffler) as not good. The engine is a very underpowered for this car and the carb is one of the hardest carb I ever tuned. It does not hold its tune. The radio (perfex) will glitch in a nitro application. The radio is used for the mini-z of Kyosho.
Again, I like Kyosho cars but at the same time, I don't want you to have a bad impression and then shy away from the hobby.
Are you looking for off-road or on-road?

RE: Kyosho Newbie
well it's a single speed transmission
it may run about 20-40mph
I'll be concerned with the parts availability thats the most import one
make sure its not discontinued and ask what model it is and look for parts and where you can access it.
ask what model and go to www.kyosho.com look into its parts and start looking for it.
you may break something in the future and you need to change.
