Default Losi Mini 8ight Help

Hi Guys

The "Mrs" has just treated me to a Losi Mini 8ight, I am so pleased with how this thing goes, to say nothing of how pleased I was with the Mrs!!

After a quick muck about I noticed there is a little play in the steering links, are there any hop ups to solve this. I had a look at some websites and nothing pops up, does anyone know of a cure?

It is somewhere in the linkages, I may just being really fussy as it has not even been to its first race yet, this comes tomorrow with a completely stock class run at my local club.

I would very much appreciate any help / advice.

Many Thanks

Stu

Hi,

Many thanks for your help, had a look at the video and see what is happening, I have now made that adjustment and included the washers. I will also be replacing the steering bar with carbon fibre variant which after having a very close look may also aid in stopping the play.

It looks like there is some play within the wheels, but I am just being so picky, I cannot wait to go racing this evening, so looking forward to it. I have never raced before some I am not holding out a lot of hope of being a natural but I am looking forward to learning and developing my skills.

I will be back I am sure looking for some set up tips once I know what I am suffering from once I race, but I do not think any set up will instantly help me!! LOL

Thanks very much for your help.

Kind Regards

Stu
