Default rc nitro car

hi i am new to the rc world ,looking for my first nitro fc car on a couple hundred or less budget , what should i get ? i dont want to buy junk. or the most expensive. thanks

I know the GTP2 is pretty reliable as we had member push the electric version around 100mph, and it survived a hit(well mostly was still there ) so honestly the nitro edition I'd guess would last. Only issue I can think os is you might be limited in bodies as most bodies it seem are 1/10th scale

LOL... What is up with the first link you have there SyCo? LOL, they picture a steam engine and talk about the Force .28! Just thought that was funny!

The OP stated that his budget was a couple hundred or less. Sounds like 1/8 scale is out.

well not like there really are any 1/10ths either, and their price is pretty high too

The RS4 isn't bad but costs more then the GTP2

Only others are exceeds which are like $150, but their main distributor is completely out of them

To the op if you want nitro cheap... IMO don't bother nitro is one of those things where cost really does matter cheap nitro engines are kinda crappy, and can sometimes be a nightmare to tune which leads to frustration. Only say this as someone that tried to go cheap into nitro, and ended up spending a hell of a lot more getting proper stuff.
