Hi all, I'm new. Looking for ideas for motors. RC Car seems like the most popular. I'm also looking for ideas on 2 motors I have. I got 2 motors from a vacuum - can I use those for anything?
Any DIY websites that can help? Youtube channels?
I'm not sure where to start.
I could use general motor information.
I've played with motors in the past but not to build a car.
I could use the correct search terms - motors vs engines. Type of motor.
What type of tools do I need? Recommend?
Any questions for me?

Vacuum cleaner's motors weren't made to fit into RC cars. Even if you fit it nobody can tell if the car is going to run well. (It probably won't.)

The motors you want to use come from cordless drills which operate on DC. That is if you insist on using recycled parts and are apt to adapt them for RC use. Vacuum motors will very likely be AC motors which means you are dealing with extension cords and hazardous voltage (it’s the 21st century. Nobody uses corded radio control anymore... ). Being a beginner, you will want to start with a small scale RTR truck to get your feet wet.
