My intro into the hobby grade stuff. It was already converted when I picked it up. At the same time I got it there was a bunch of aluminum stuff showing up on eBay so I went a bit overboard but it was a heck of a lot of fun building. The home made motor mount is interesting. What’s also neat is they found out is if you stick a 3/8x3/16 :10 stock losi front wheel bearing in an ae spur it all fits the stock slipper setup and is probably a better setup then stock. However there is a drawback. The slightly bigger spur means limiting the rear suspension travel so the gear does not hit the rear arm. and the trix style motor mount came loose after some hard bashing sessions so I bolted a wl toys mount to the chassis In its place and have had no more problems.
