Clutch lost grip
#1

Just recently I was so happy when I replaced my standard plastic clutch with a new metal clutch which had a nice grip.
.. that that's gone now so I was wondering if I burned the clutch up already .. so I took the gear bell off an noticed a lot of oil build up.
Now I'm wondering if the engine is just running to to rich or if that might be from after run oil !?

It wasn't near that bad. It would just slip some and there was no quick acceleration. The silicon exhaust connector tube isn't split is it? I'd for sure check that. You need to find where the oil is coming from. But you already know that. Good luck.
How long did it take the new clutch to get oily and start slipping?

But it may run to rich as the oil inside the exhaust connector is still blue( color of the fuel). I will lean it out a little and since I cleaned the clutch / gear bell, I'll see and check back in .

In the video It looks like the muffler is wet where it goes into the connector tubing. It's not leaking out of there is it? All the oil in the fuel that isn't burned should be going out the pipe and not blowing around under the body. Any way to put a temporary shield around the flywheel to see where the oil is coming from?

So it was defiantly the oil / dirt that had the clutch slipping. The Clutch was almost gripping to well it tryed to engage while idling : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Tfc...ew?usp=sharing
which later adjusted itself. So I got my good 10 min usual run out of the that maintenance till I stripped the transmission plastic gears .. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RuT...ew?usp=sharing
wonder if I can get those somewhere made out of metal

And actually yes it looks like that is the exact angle where the oil could spray from the gap if into the back of the clutch bell if the silicone connector is not tight ! I will try to make sure that's not happening again especially since I don't think the engine is running to rich and the little bit of oil is normal.
