Default How I fixed wheel slop

I had a traxxas bandit that suffered from excessive wheel slop. I read people where buying a shim to use as a bandaid fix. I build yardkart gokarts that are powered by modified 8hp engines and will do 45+mph with me on it and no helmet. This tlr kit is a mini gokart front tire kit basically. The small tube goes inside of the hub. The spacer goes in between the bearing and hex pin with the small raised portion towards the bearing. When you crank the wheel locknut down it will only put pressure on the bottom roller of the bearings inside of the hub and not put any preload on the wheel/bearing itself. You can absolutely crank the wheel it down till it strips or breaks the axle threads off. Without locking up the wheel. This kit is no different then how gokart wheel wobble is kept under control.
