1:8 basher races?
#1

I know there are official 1:8 competition classes, but what about a race for normal 4s and 6s 1:8 bashers? I’ve noticed some 1:8 bashers, like the Corally Shogun, Arrma Talion, Corally Python, Corally Asuga, Arrma Typhon 6s, and Arrma Fireteam (speaking from experience with the Corally brand and judging similar Arrma models) seem to have incredible acceleration and handling and would generally be very dominant on a track, but they don’t fit into any racing classes I know of.

Caster Racing recently released a race grade RTR with HobbyWing electronics, this would be my top pick for a RTR to be ran on a race track:

I'd say you need to take a step back in time and have a look at the 1/8 scale, and the 1/10 scale 4wd SCT offerings from Team Durango. That will, I think, help you understand the "basher" RC platforms from Arrma. After that is well researched, then you can understand why Team Corally wants in on the action as they go head to head with some of their nomenclature of their platforms. 1/8 scale buggies have always been the tanks of the RC world. There is nothing really special about buggy/truggy designs. They are all very similar for the most part. It's the extra "beefiness" of the parts in general that gives them the durability that bashers look for.
