im thinking about buying a rs4 . is it fast? how fast? would it be caperble of beating a hornet of blazzing star in a race

A micro in stock trim is not verry fast. However it is still fun. My micro lasted in the stock trim for about 30 seconds. then I upgraded. All I started with was a vennom 1100 6C pack and hpi mod motor this made the car a verry potent basger. However I soon had to upgrade to a steel pinion and CVD's as the stock onse are plastic and they will break. I would have to say the HPI micro RS4 is well worth the money but be forwanrd its a lot funner if you have somone to drive with. I got mine and only raced with others one time and now it is geting boaring as there is noone to drive with. I would recomend you goto one18th.com for any other questions they have some verry smart people there that are way to unhealthingly into micros LOL[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

i won my bet with my mum now i can buy any car kit under 250 aus dollars should i get the hpi micro rs4 to race in school???

I'm not sure what the equivilant of 250 AUS dollars is to USD, but there are many cars out there better than the Micro RS4. Take the Team losi XXX-S sport. You can find them on ebay, and on most online hobby stores for about $235, which is well worth it. The Associated TC-3 is another good one. All better than the Micro, and capable of much higher speeds.

cab you beleve ive written3 replyS! ok i looked at my local hobby shop web site www.stanbridges.com.au and the only car i see there is the hpi rs4 sport 2 . im yet to check the price but all forums say its a good buy. ill see the price when i get to school on tuesday. do you guys think its a good car and worth the MoNeY?!?!

HPI cars are not raceworthy cars. The chassis set-up is horrible. Yes the Losi xxx-s is able to be hopped-up, and yes it is a belt driven 4wd
Please don't post so many times within such a short amount of time. Keep in mind we can't all check the forum a few times a day

Well in order for there to really be other cars there, it would probably be considered a race. Even a really hopped up micro wouldn't beat a Stock XXX-S by all that much. And just drop in a 17t or so motor and any micro wouldn't be able to touch, or even handle as good.

i replied but can't see it on the forum so i will repeat i would be interested in tradiong for a airplane kit like a cub or something. money value isn't a issue as long as i get a kit i want ( iknow that the kit is worth less than my rs4)i only have like 10 batterys through it
