Default Got my Nos!!!

WEll, after 6 months of waiting and dozens of calls to the people at jags rc, I finally got my $90.00 nos kit for my t-maxx. I am sorry to say that I am not that impressed with the system. First of all, the actuating mechanism is not perfected and has a tendency to stick and release all of the nos out (I went through 3 bottles just trying to get the thing adjusted) Also, the bottles have to be heated to 90 degrees in order for it to work properly. Out of several attempts, I got it to work for about one second followed by an engine cutoff, but their was a huge increase in power. Personally, I wish I would have waited a couple more years until the systems are perfected. This current setup is not very user friendly, and it requires one's full attention and it just can't randomly be used while your bashing with your friends. This kit will work if you are willing to put the time into it and are prepared for frustration and set backs, but it does look kool and you get mad bragging rights lol. I might be willing to sell this kit if anyone is interested (still have some bottles left).

So you bug the people for this rig, say it's cool for bragging rights (????) and that you want to sell it all in the same breath. After all the trouble you went to to get it, why don't YOU want the bragging rights?

Please reserve Trading and selling to the RCU Marketplace!

Yes NOS is a Company that is owned by Holley.
But The NOS that people are talking about is actualy the compound N2O.

First, nitrous oxide is comprised of 2 parts nitrogen and one part oxygen (36% oxygen by weight). When the nitrous oxide is heated to approximately 572F (on compression stroke), it breaks down and releases its load of extra oxygen.

I argue that 20% Nitromethane solutions require VERY LITTLE OXYGEN in the first place(5% or 1/3 of gasoline(14.7%)). Why bother with an oxydizer?
