For your information better later than never. Gary Delara, manufacturer of the cars you ask about is liquidating all 1/4 scale chassis, suspension, wheels/hubs left and right, body parts including wings, fuel tanks and engines for sprint, supermodified, offset supermodified and stock cars. Delara Motorsports sold. The new owner will begin manufacturing and sales of cars, both sprint and stock, in early 2007, look for announcement in RC posting. Thank all of you for your interest.

coriver.....Do you have any info on who the new owner is? Also do you know if the cars will have the quick change rear end like the old SKELLENGER rear ends? Any additional info would be great. Thanks!

For Your Info on the 1/4 Scale Sprint Cars. Yes we will be up and selling soon. We are in the process of manufacturing the new quick change rearends. We have updated the chassis and we just got done with the new hoods. We will be offering 3 different hoods to chose from and the option of wing or non-wing chassis.

Once we get the rearends back, we will advertise and our website will be up and running. The rearend is whats taking alot of time, but I think everyone will be happy with the end results.

I just now found this thread thru Google of all places searching 1/4 scale sprints. I wonder how close their rear ends will be to the late Skellengers?

My secured storage was robbed by Tim timothy Nadiak, 49 yr old male & A American Storage Asst. Mngr JEFF MARTINin Bakersfield, CA
Over $170,000 of musical and RC items were taken including a GARY DELARA Prototype 1/4 scale RC sprint car,
with original detailed manuals, extra rear-end gears, controller transmitter, and truss parts.
This car was one of the first built by Gary, before the edlebrock thing. (1980's)
A cash award is available for the return of this rare rc car.

I have seen an ad forsale Edelbrock sprint car with skellenger rear end,and the car is great shape comes with knock off hubs,aluminum wings,tuned pipe custom aluminum wheels with new Good year tires.
