Engine size question
What is Traxxas refering to as "2.5"? I'm assuming that's the cc?
Also, what does 0.15 and .12 etc stand for? I'm assuming that's the piston displacement in liters?
And last question......is it true that a 2.5 and .15 are the same size engine?

RE: Engine size question
the traxxas 2.5 is a .15 engine. They say 2.5 so people would think its alot bigger than it really is. The sizes like .12, .18, .26, etc. are the displacements in Cubic Inchs. Most .12 engines are .129 cubic inchs (Or 2.11cc) of displacement, so they get the most power and can be considered a .12.
The Traxxas TRX 2.5 is a .15 engine that has a displacment like .152 or .153 ci (Or 2.5cc). 2.5cc makes the engine sound much bigger than a .15ci.
Like the HPI Nitro Star K4.5, the engine is a .28ci displacement engine, but 4.5(cc) makes it sound bigger.
