Default My recent additions.

Been wanting to get a MT truck, I was set to buy a pede for less than 200$ from Tower Hobbies with batts and wheel bearings. Have been sniping ebay but no luck if your max bid (budget) is low. Looking at garage sales and the swap meet, but they are always a hard bargain.

Then I found an add on the local craig's list classifieds. It says "Dominator truck with servos and Hyper 21 8 port engine $100.00, 2 Associated TC3 with servo and ESC for $50.00 each, Deep discount on multiple buys" With those being said, I already thought it was a good deal.

So I called the guy and set up a meeting, I am 45miles away from his place and got there in an hour. So he took out the dominator all covered with dirt, I brushed off some of it and began inspecting the car. It was in very good condition and was only used a couple of times. So I also asked for the electric TC3's, hoping he will lower the prices since I will buy more than 1 car. He took out the two TC3 and I saw many upgrades on them. With 200$ in my wallet, I asked him how much he would sell the 3 cars. (Thinking it would be less bacuase its multiple cars) He said 200$. but he will give me extras. He included an OFNA chrome top starter box complete with 12v gell cell and charger, an aluminum glow plug lighter w/ meter, 2 sanyo 1700 mah matched racing packs, 3 standard orion 1400mah nicads, 15 different pinion gears from Paragon racing, 7 set of wheels and tires for the TC3 with different softness/firmness with some new ones, a rx pack and airtronics 3 ch FM rx. He had a lot more to give up, practically anything related to those cars, but his garage was a mess, wall to wall RC cars and planes hanging from the ceiling and he cant remember were he put them. After 30 mins, I told him that this is already a great deal.

So I guess my patience paid off this time.

Here are some pics to share.

Looks...it is really nice for 100 lol. Man, that's more than a bargain...defeneatly classified as a steal. I saw a tc3 for 50 bucks in the paper the other day but that's nothing compared to that deal!

If I had another 50$ bucks, he would have included a RC10GT with an OS engine in it and extra body. I almost did not go because my wife was giving me a hard time for taking 200$ from our bank account and the fact that I am driving for an hour just to check it out first. I had to take my 5 yr old son along so my wife would give me some slack.

He had 3 more cars posted in the add, a Mugen 2wd Nitro ST for 100$, a shumacher fusion with a Rossi engine for $200, and the RC10gt with an OS engine for 75$. I checked his add which he updates when he sold a car, and they are all gone after a week.

He seem like a real nice guy, didnt say much, Maybe around 40ish, he races with his teenage son. I guess he is quitting the RC cars. By the looks of his garage, he has plenty of hobbies anyway. He has a lifted 4x4 truck, a harley davidson motorcyle, an original vintage mini cooper which looks like modified for racing and another late model mini cooper, and rc planes too.

I left home aggrevated because of my wife, I drove like a mad man so it would not take me longer. But when I saw the trucks and cars that he was selling, all my anger went away in an instant, now it felt like I stole something and getting away with it. He was still looking for his extra charger when I told him Its okay because I have one already and I have to attend to something and had to leave now. I came home a very happy man.

That Rossi is probably worth the $200, not including the schumacher.
