What adjustment needs to be made when........My Himoto Nitro on-road car gets faster as the gas runs out? About 2 mins before the fuel is empty, its toppin out speed and movin really fast, but when i fill the tank up it doesnt go as fast until the tank gets low again.

Could someone tell me why this would be? and how i can get it toppin for the full run?

You can't. when the fuel gets low in the tank your motor is going to run leaner. all nitros do it.

Usually less than 10 seconds before hte tank goes dry it will lean out...Could be too rich?

o ok cool. So theres nothing i can do about that? when u say too rich, what do i do to make it leaner?

screw in needle valve a tad?

yes, about 1/12 of a turn at a time. Your owners manual should have tuning instructions.

the standard adjustment for the niddle should be at 2 1/2 more then that is rich less than that lean. lean =fast,but engine runs hot and might boom! no good. rich= lots of smoke coming out of the exaust and kinda sluggish, u want to keep right in betewn the two of these to get the top peformance of the engine.
