Nice light kit on that shell, very simple yet cool. which light kit did you use? Im thinking of getting one for my shell. When your taking pics you need to turn on "macro mode" on your digicam and it will specially focus on close objects.

For my car i just took out the aluminium OS carby and replaced it with a composite carb. I should get a more consistent power since the fuel isnt getting heated up at the carb anymore. I also did a simple ingenius mod to my brakes, heaps better and consistent. I can show and tell

You should order a swallow 2 advance charger for around $90. Very good charger as you can charge ANYTHING aslong as you have the plugs for it

Also do the rear diff housing mod or use flyscreen if you dont want your belts to get chewed out and snap.

How'd you do that paintjob phoenix stu? Very nice!
I really wish I could claim credit for that paint job but is the stock body for the Sprint 2. Thanks anyway. I just got a RS4 3 18ss+, I will be doing my first paint job in a couple of days and I will post some picks.

Thanks again.

Some of the more recent HPI bodies have "light buckets," which you can cut out of the Lexan, put stickers on, and mount under the body to form realistic headlight spaces. If you look at the decal sheets via the HPI website you can usually spot out the two different decal sets for the headlights. My Murcielago has buckets.

Nice dude nice... It just needs a new powerplant, that 15FE is a chicken mcnugget compared to the new engines these days. The series 2 are capable of higher top speeds than the rs4-3's

Thanks for the advise!...
Do I have to buy motor mounts in order to mount that engine?...
100 bucks is quiet expensive, slightly cheaper than I paid for the car... But, It's part of the hobby, isn't it?...
Thanks again!...

Check the prices of competitive motors and RC motors in general and you'll find that $109 is very very inexpensive...

But yeah, you'll need the basic motor mounts to install the new engine.

This is assuming that you have a Sprint2. You will need to cut out the sections in your diff box as here in my pictures. It is absolutely one of the best mods that you can do to your Sprint and best of all it is free. You will want to probably use a dremmel tool. Note if you are not too good with one it is recommended that you take your diff box off so that you can cut it out so you dont accidentally cut your belt in the process.
Compare the pic with your car and you can see where to cut. If you still are having problems with where exactly to cut, let me know and I will photoshop the image and show you exactly. However, I think the photos are self explanatory,

I hopw this helps.

No worries. I am not sure about the mini. However if they are a similiar set up. It might be worth it to do it to the mini as well. Not sure bout the layout though of the mini. Anyway the idea is to keep any rocks or debris getting in and chewing up your belts. With this mod, it allows the debris to flow right through the back or front which ever the case may be.

Here's an RS4 3 with a homemade dual exhaust. Sounds a little different, but works pretty well.
31mm rears, 26mm fronts, sways, 2 speed.
