That is one fast vehicle. I would actually make the front of it more scooped so it cuts the air more than hitting it caused by the flat front, I can easily see how you can go that fast with a brushless lipo mix, way to go man.

I'm a little bit disappointed, he got 134mph confirmed and 160mph unofficial last year. I would have liked to see that beat.

Did you guys see the dual engine lst (sts30 x 2 = like 3.8hp) only got to mid 30s. I can just see a $180 rustler xl5 passing it. LOL

I would tend to believe the 127.2 m.p.h. through a timed speed trap mainly because of my experiences with RADAR guns...(they're a little "iffy" IMO )
I have a slightly modified Fusion and it's pretty fast for a basher, but the time/effort/enginuity it takes to get one (or more ) of your r/c cars over 100 m.p.h. is to be commended [sm=thumbup.gif]
(now...I wonder how much it would take to get my Serpent 950R to 100+

I didn't even get that far down the page at that point. The twin engine one is even better.

It happened right in front of me and it did hit hard. Remember, that's not exactly a light car! The damage wasn't really that bad, mostly front suspension parts, but it sucked that that was his best run of the day and it seemed like the car was still picking up speed after he passed the radar gun.
I can't wait till next year!

Hi
Tony Lovering here. The run I did was a very short run up and the car just caught 2nd gear before the finish line. I was bringing the car back for a better run and the battery lead come out of the TX and the rest is on vid!
Since that run I have found that the car needed 3 tanks, one for each engine. I havent tested it at full speed yet but will on 17th August at Long Marston drag strip.
For a full story see my blog
