Are nitro r/c exhaust systems just about straight pipes?
Hello, I was just wondering if normal tuned pipes on nitro r/c cars and trucks were straight pipes, in other words the pipe wouldn't muffle the sound much.

Well it does muffle it, but they are not designed to muffle the sound. They are designed do give the correct amount of back pressure and flow for the best performance.
