Default Time for racing

hey guys.
i have just recently gotten bitten by the racing bugwhile racing my GT2.
i Really want something 4wd. im thinking of going with either a Revo or a Mugen/RC8/Losi 8ight.
im only 15 with no job, so money is a factor.
im going to try to fix up my Savage pretty quick and sell it. im lookintg at getting around $250 for it.
i also mow lawns once a week so ill have some money saved up from that by the time i buy it.
im going to be buying the car on ebay to cut down on costs by trying to find a good deal.
I know i can probly get the Revo for cheaper than anything else, but i also kinda want a buggy so idk what im gunna do.
if someone can give me some guidance, that would be great.
thanks

what does your first gut feeling tell you to do?/ sounds like you want the revo... i have 1 and i like it very very much.. some guys will hate them and like the savage and the other way around.

i vote 1 for the revo.. they are fast, huge and fun trucks with parts easy to get and hops ups too.. it's your money man,, get what you think you will like.

check out the [for sale] forums on this site.. i saw some pretty good deals on a few right here.. and i would trust buying here a lot.. all good guys here..jake

if your lookin into racing stay away from the revo! u can sink a small fortune into one of these and still get dogged by a stock racing truck or buggy! my cousin made this mistake against my advice

8ight t is a great racer. the revo is more of a backyard basher.

if you really want to race, i'd go with something thats been made to race.
