Does anyone race their E-Firestorm?

I do. There is a few people in Europe that race thier's also.
I'm full-blooded American though.
I'm an associated Buggy fan, just not a big Associated Truck fan.
The E-firestorm is a nice addition to my R/C Collection.

Is it a good racer? I dont know if I should try to trade mine for a buggy to race, or just race my storm. If I keep it, I will be putting a 12t motor and LRP esc in it. then I will buy me a soldering iron (for r/c and electricity class next school year), then buy either a vendetta st, or an E-Savvy

Yes it's a good racer. I'm getting closer and closer every week to winning.
I have got 2nd on one heat with it before.

Last week was my first time Running a 2wd Mod Truck in 5 years. It's such a easy truck to drive also.
It handles the jumps much better than my rustler ever did.

yeah I have a video of me driving it at the track, but I have to change some stuff up. I read that putting the back springs on the front shocks, and the front springs on the back shocks will be good for a track. I just got done switching them around last night.

here is the vid if you want to check it out

the comments at the bottom are funny lol

Yes it jumps so much better switching the springs, from front to back, and back to front like that.
The stock shock oil I replaced with 40wt on the front and rear also. Maybe you should do the same.
It's an Error HPI made, and it's all over the net also.
Nice Vid.

This is exactly my question? Is it race worthy on a local, stock class level? You both say yes? Has anybody else out there raced these E-Firestorms? What did you think? We have some pretty good local drivers. I see a lot of Associated and Losi trucks, I'd like something a little different. I hope the E-Firestorm can be relatively competitive with these trucks. What do you all think? Thanks.

im kinda new to rc, so i race a novice class and the truck is pretty competitive with the losi trucks that are not brushless (nobody has an associated truck). I got first in the a main 2 weeks ago, but i dont know about a stock class though. the track i run at lets the stadium trucks run what ever motor you want. i tried to run with the modified trucks but the stock motor just isnt fast enough to keep up with a brushless losi that can wheelie down the entire back stretch
