Default Difference between AM and FM

I was thinking about getting a new Remote Control for my Aftershock. I want a 3 channel controller for a relatively cheap price, no more than 150 or so, i was wondering would AM or FM be better?

thanks

FM is always better but you also have to upgrade the receiver to Fm. If you go AM there are alot of good AM radios in the 75mhz range.

I think it would be better if you go 2.4GHz. You can get an Airtronics MX-3 or Spektrum DX 2.0 for fewer than 150.

You will never have channel conflicts, glitches, or interference from other radios.

Wise choice! You will not be disappointed. Though they might be as much as $200 for a mid-grade 2.4Ghz radio set, you will not be disappointed because that radio will be superior to the RTR AM (and even RTR FM) radios in every way. Most 2.4Ghz radio systems have multi-model memory, so you can actually program several RCs' parameters into the smae radio.
