Default Custom Radio?

I have a problem. I just got my track finished in my backyard. I have driven on it a few times with my friends now. Me and one kid both drive with our right hand for the throttle and left hand for the steering. We have to lay the controller over sideways to do so. And the kid that drives normal was beating us bad on the track. and we have beed driving alot longer than him, i think it might be the way we hold the radio. What do you think? And i cant drive normal, I have tried and tried and I absolutely can not do it. Does any company make a radio with the steering wheel on the left side? Or do i need to learn how to use the controller with my left hand for the throttle? Or maby i just need more prectice. Another thing is that i always end up hitting the guy next to me with my antenna. Whats your thoughts? Heres how i hold the Radio if you dont know what im talking about.

Have you tried a stick controller? Maybe that would work better for you.

The DX3R can be made to work left handed. It will also take care of the problem of long antenna hitting those standing next to you.

I know exactly what you're talking about. radio manufactures don't make a cheap left handed radio any more.[] ( They said the cost to make it was not worth it anymore) Back in the 90's they did. Hitec challenger 2px and 3pxd kyosho pulsar2000, airtronics XL2p 2Vp radios under $100 new back then. Now nothing.[] the only option is look for a used radio. I now own The hitec lynx 3D radio (2). Expensive when new. Now it's cheap $50-75.

I modified a stick radio to work 'goofy foot' so to speak. My brain is also wired backwards and I was doing the exact same thing that you were. Here is a picture of my stick radio, and I love it. But it is modified however, normally the steering is on the right thumb and throttle on the left. It only cost me about $15 to get the wires right at a local electronics shop, and I did the stick swap myself.

Here is a link to my full thread on it. I feel your plight brotha!

I want to try a stick radio. It sounds like I would really like it. What would a stick radio go for?

The DX3R can infact swap the wheel over to the other side. All the parts to do so came with mine.
