Lol I am the LHS' best friend, though I do most of my shopping online since he runs a small store and doesn't carry much.
I'm an art dealer for those who are wondering.
Anyway, on topic, I have to admit I've been doing other stuff... not building this thing. I'll get it done in the morning though

Ohhh yeah. You'd be surprised - there are many more people with lots of money and a desire to live it up than you think. Once you get into that social scene you realize how large it is, especially in major cities and cultural centers.

Front knuckles and caster blocks. As a side note, It's been a while since I've built an AE kit, and I must say their directions and pictures are excellent, possibly even a shade better than Tamiya.

I love how the AE bags A is used first before B gets opened instead of Tamiya needing some parts from A some from C and so on. But I like that tamiya has the real size illustrations of each fastener and how many you need on each page. That is pretty handy.

yeah it I've driven a Slash and I can already tell this car would demand bit more respect, but as with all higher end vehicles it will return much more.

Here are some pictures of mine. I put every single factory team part on it that I could, minus titanium nitride shock shafts only because the LHS is out. This truck has titanium turnbuckles, FT shocks, top plate, steering assembly, hinge pin brace, a-arms, rear chassis mount, milled motor plate, ball differential, 30 deg ft casters, CVDs, ball bearings throughout entire truck.
Truck is ready for racing today. Wheels are balanced, tires doped, crossweighted 50/50 to within 2 grams, 50/50 left to right, 35/65 front-to-rear weight distribution (scaled). I am running a Tekin RS Pro, Novak 13.5, spektrum pro w/ sanwa exzes plus, Reedy 5000 35C, Hitec 5955 TG.
Took 1st place with it last Saturday night

Looking good. I really want to build this kit. Looks solid and actually quite simple. I really like that they released it in kit form. Some people dont like all these rtr's. You learn so much about the car building it.

It's super simple, which is a good thing. Quality isn't sacrificed at all though
Sorry for the photo quality, I'm just snapping them off as I go, really terrible lighting too - too lazy to set up each shot.
here are some more:

i watched a vid on youtube that said its based on the t4 chassis. it takes the same shock towers and stuff. from the pcs you posted, the tranny is the same, steering assembly and the a arms appear to be the same. only major difference looks to be that the chassis is extended, and the different bumpers, body mounts, and wheels. i might sell the t4 and put the money towards one of these or a slash. i like this but i also like the waterproof electronics of the slash.

All finished except for a radio and a paintjob. I was rummaging through a box of ESCs and motors and found a VXL system in there so I slapped it onto the truck, I'll scavenge a radio and paint the body tomorrow.
