At your age I was working summers at a fiberglass manufacturing plant (worst experience ever, but it built a little character and lined my pocket)

I am a Maintenance Technician in the world of Carpet Manufacturing. I honestly really like my job. I'd rather be fixing cars, but this pays more and the work's a whole lot easier.

i can see how you can not get a job when you 14 and such. There maybe a summer youth employment program where you live and you can find out exactly what your good at, they say you get paid for training where im at. its ages 14-24. as far as jobs, i say stay in school. in the summer work at a fast food joint

If you do a search for a "What do you do" or "what do you do for a living" it'll turn more than 5 threads asking this exact same question...

RE: Jobs of RC people
I'm an accountant. It is kind of nice because I just found someone at work who is also into RC's so we will hopefully run them during lunch. Iremeber getting my first job when Iwas 12 (Icaddied at the local golf course). It was a great way to make some extra cash to buy dirt bikes and stuff like that. But I couldn't imagine being any age now looking for a job with the way the economy is going.

During the school year I'm a university student, and for the four months during the summer I work as a Border Services Officer (read: border guard) at the Bluewater Bridge in Sarnia, Ontario.

RE: Jobs of RC people
Im 21 and currently unemployed. I usually work my way through the summer, and it holds me over through the next 2 school semesters. The economy is bad enough now that i have been out for 3 weeks now and havent found a job yet. I live on a small farm though, so i have been fixing and selling some farm equipment and i work on vehicles whenever i can get the work. Mainly diesels. It really sucks to not have a job right now though. Im hoping to find something soon. In the past i have done excavating, septic systems, plumbing, factory work, farm labor, electrical work, and several other things. So i have some experience with things, but the economy is just sooo bad.
