Uhh...

The term "rich" is used to indicate that there is more fuel than air in a mixture. Leaning it referes to adding more air or less fuel to the mixture.

The perforamnce is like a bell curve. Theres an optimum performance/reliability cusp where you should run the engine.. usually its around 225-250 degrees F.

I mean, im using a new engine and doing the *go easy on engine* start and going on rich adjustment... and it goes .. quite slow thou.. and i was wondering how much it will go when i put the fuel neel on 1,0 .. some people says it'll go twice as fast .. :stupid:

the needle adjustment.. on rich settings, or the normal settings.

however, i cant test it becous my engine is not used more then 3 REAL times on the street.. so once i change it lower then 2,0 it stops. thats why i wonder..

I mean, once i put the fuel on normal , the needle adjustment on 1.0.. which is the normal setting.. how much faster in % will it go then the 2.0 setting.. as the other guy told. once u higher the needle adjustment it gets more air into the nitro and it should slow it down... i donno but i think it'll go 30% faster or something.. just wanned to see if im right... i mean 30% faster once i turn it 1.0

with out gearing A rich running engine is probabaly around 10% slower then a lean running engine. Races like me tend to run slightly lean too get all the power out of the engines. bashers run rich because they arent competing with anyone. Now, because a leaner engine is 10% more poweful this means that A higher gearing can be used which equals even more speed.

cool, do u think a gear can be put into a Kyosho GP Pureten Alpha 4WD? I'm just curious about my car... hehe. AND BTW.. i was driving it today for a loong run to another niegtberhood whit a friend, and on the way back it went completley INSANE! , the car had serval get aways a few minutes back later who i couldnt stop, but this one was a diaster.. it went a huge get away into a big stack of people. full speed and i had to chase it once it drived stuck in a wall and stop the incoming fuel to the engine for it to stop accelrating. any ideas why? I belive its the batteries but batteries in sweden costs ALOT so i wanna make sure that it's the batteries heh..

It was probably either your batteries or interference. Did it stay wide open or go on and off?????
