What car? You need to lean the LSN, and if that doesn't help, richen it. Get the engine running and heated up, then coem in and let it idle for 15 seconds. Pinch the fuel line tight an inch before it goes to the carb inlet. The engine should rev up slightly then die in 3-5 seconds. That will give you a baseline LSN tune.

Also when adjusting do it by 1 hour increments, or 1/8 of a turn after you get it to stay running and it is warmed... If all else fails reset to factory settings which you should find at the car's manufacturer wesite. what make of car is it BTW

In short, just reset to factory and retune, you'll save yourself a lot of time, guessing and possible engine damage.

Change your glow plug and lean the LSN 1/8th turn if it doesnt help lean it another 1/8th turn you can test to see if the LSN is set right by pinching the fuel line if the engine dies right as you pinch it its running a lean if the engine stays running for more than 4 seconds its running to rich. Thats probly your issue.

1 ,did you touch any of the needles on the carb since it ran fine the first time you drove it
2 , is the air filter on the carb
3, what fuel are you using and how old is it did you leave it open for a long period of time.
4 , what color is your glow plug
5 when it starts is there a huge cloud of smoke or does it sound like it a hi pitch wine before it dies
6 does the engine have 3 screw slots or 4 , on a normal carb it has a low speed high speed and idle screw, a 4 has all 3 but also a mid speed needle which always should be flush with the face of the carb
here is a video of the sounds of what a low , high speed needle sounds like if lean or rich , that will be a good starting point of determening whats wrong

i hope this helps you to give a little more detail of what problems you are having.
