Default OFNA Force .28 Engine Help

Ipurchased an OFNA Force Engine and am having trouble with it. When I start the car it revs up to high RPM and when I try to bring it down it dies. It wants to run at FULLthrottle at with just a small gap on the carberator (less than a 1/4 inch) and with the Engine with only about a 1 mm gap it won't even start. I have put the motor back to factory settings and still the same result. Iam removing the carbirator and cleaning it out today, but Iwas wanting some other suggestions on what other issues I should look for. Any feedback would be appreciated.
