wow your just everywhere aren't you. if your that good of a racer then why are you here? and what do you care about what we do (the majority here anyways).
we race and bash for fun PERIOD. unlike you that take it way too serious.we all have opinions, idea's and our own experiences BUT the main difference is we like to have fun with the hobby and not get all upset and holier than thou about it.
the new trend IS lipo's and the ones from hobbycity ARE just as good as your high dollar packs you just don't want to admit it.
your like every other "racer" i've seen that thinks money will buy you a win.

He might be overseas, things are a bit different if in asia for instance. The right type of sponsorship, or enough money, can gaurantee you a spot in the top main even if you didn't qualify accordingly. Granted a spot in the A main does not gaurantee a top finish, but finishing dead last in the A main is accepted as better than finishing second in the B main (and not every track allows for bump-ups). The point is that this is a huge contrast to local racing where qualifying runs and those alone determine your standing in the mains. Overseas you don't necessarily need top skills, you just need some kind of celebrity status or popular backing.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vocaloi...uper_GT_Series

"...Though it never qualified in the qualify session mainly due to fuel problems that season (including the miss of its Suzuka debut due to a misunderstanding of the rules), it was allowed to race in the final round at Mt. Fuji, and completed the race in eighteenth place. Crypton fully supported the process of participation. The car attracted many motor sport and non-motor sport fans not only because of its color scheme..."

I find it rather ironic, after that statement, that you claim to be a Baja 5B owner.

Yup, in one sentence you defend the idea not needing to spend big bucks to go fast - and yet you own a 3-grand RC, and list all the hop-ups.

So is it that the simple concept of "irony" that escapes you?

I see NO difference...............however im not a racer. There is no way you could ever get me to buy a hugely overpriced lower end quality maxamps over a Zippy or Turnigy(the ones i use). There is such a huge disparity here its not even a debatable point IMO.

Racer or not - I fully agree. I am about to purchase a couple of Zippy LiPo's myself. Every post I have seen about them has been very positive. I am going to give them a try.

If someone is jelous then I understand why this is said?
but back to the point at hand, one does not need to spend big bucks on high dollar packs when $30 packs get the job done just fine
and possibly better because you have much more runtime when you can buy 4, 5, or even 6 packs for the price of one of the high priced batteries..

It seems rather ironic that you own a Baja 5B, and brag about upgrades, and then make a statement like that.
