What happened to Kyosho?

Default What happened to Kyosho?

I'm back from a little break from rc and it seems like kyosho dissappeared. Did I miss something?

Still around. I guess your break from R/C has been some time. The landscape has changed, as far as Kyosho's position in the hobby. The ties to Great Planes/ Hobbico are no longer. They have their own distribution, centered in California now.

You didn't hear!? Some team of thugs rushed their headquarters and took all the chairpeople hostage. They said they'd only let them live if they promised to close down the company. It was crazy!

JUST KIDDING. Idk, companies come and go in popularity I guess. Just the way of things.

EDIT: Would have been better if it was 1st post

As far as in-store stuff, jeepyj, Kyosho is taking care of their distribution now.

Don't bother looking toward Losi if you were a fan of theirs in the day. It's depressing. Imagine if Ferrari started building pickup trucks that were neither good at being pickup trucks or planters
