Hey Joey bag o donuts, snow here and most of the country has been taking a cold, snowy, icy, wet beating for the past few weeks.  I have been waiting on some decent weather but its been in the 20's and low 30's here for the whole winter, i guess we have to expect it up here but the past few winters have had their mild times but not this one as of yet.

Hope your doing good bro

Yeah, it stinks John,  I have a micro camcorder and i am dying to try it out on an rc but there is still snow everywhere and where there is no snow like the streets its wet from any melting snow, not to mention the temps in the 20's and 30's is not that enjoyable.

Hey Joey, how ya been? I'm working on a short course mod right now for the MXT-2s (as well as being electric). Problem is right now all I really do is shovel driveways but I'm going to try and sell some miscellanious rc parts I have laying around that never get used and see if I can get it going. Here are some pictures for ya so far.

Thanks. I see there is a center diff and a center gearbox, what's the difference between the two of them.
I have a potential project brewing in my mind so every-time i see parts that might work i make a note of it so that when i'm ready to start it would be easier.

Would you be referring to the first picture and the last picture? The last picture is the center diff as it comes out of the package (minus the mechanical brakes) and the first picture shows the center diff with a redcat aftershock/backdraft motor mount. However the motor mount screws don't line up completely and they use a different size screw. So what I'm am working on now is I am making a new top plate, and getting some spacers and new screws so that everything lines up correctly with the motor mount.

The center diff also isn't a direct fit. I'm going to end up drilling new holes in the proper place to mount it. Also, the spur on the diff hits the chassis so I'm going to cut a small slot right under the spur.

That is for the mtr2s/mxb2s/mxt2s. You want [link=http://server.sohouniverse.net/~himotora/shopping/pgm-more_information.php?id=350&=SID#MOREINFO]this[/link]. Also, the center diff may bump into some of the top plates (with the fuel tank, throttle servo, etc.). I haven't finished it yet and there may be some trimming and cutting involved.

Oh ok. I got a bit confused there. I thought since they were all listed under the same category that all the parts listed there were interchangeable.
Keep us posted on your progress.

Ran my rxb today in the snow yes.....I couldn't help it I needed to run something the micro t's are boering. Had it full speed tried to stop but as we all know ice is slippery slid into a dumpster cracked my stock body all to h3ll the rxb didn't break wooot. Good thing I have a spare body lol snapped the nose off and cracked the back of it she ran great had a blast got 4 tanks through it b4 I destroyed the body. Ran the viper with the spiked tires and tire chains it did not want to tune well in the cold weather but it still ran.
